R for Sport Science combines 5+ years of sport science experience at the highest level into a 2 week online course.

Correlations and Linear Regression

Predictive modeling allows you to forecast player performance and analyze the factors influencing sports outcomes. It also allows you to reverse engineer arbitrary scores that companies may utilize (ex: playerload, readiness score, etc.,).

Reverse engineer arbitrary scores using linear regression analysis in R.

You’ll build predictive models to understand what goes into an arbitrary score and evaluate the importance of the variables that contribute to it.

Mixed Effect Models for Individual Athlete Differences

Mixed effect models are powerful statistical tools used to analyze sports data with hierarchical structures, such as repeated measures within players or teams.
